Cox Charities was established in Phoenix in 1996 as a fundraising and grant-awarding arm of Cox to support non-profit agencies in the communities we serve over and above our corporate contributions. Expanded in 2004 to include Southern Arizona and other areas Cox Arizona serves, Cox Charities has awarded more than $10 million in grants to non-profit organizations in Maricopa, Pinal, Pima and Cochise counties.

Cox Charities is an employee based program primarily made up of employee contributions. Funding decisions are made by a committee comprised of Cox employees who contribute their dollars to Cox Charities.
